    The mountain that Julie Andrews sang on is the mountain just above Salzburg, Austria. The whole movie was done on location. We were there when they were filming it. We didn't know anything about it though. Julie Andrews was unknown and all we really saw were the children running around. Imagine our surprise 3 years later when we saw the movie!
